If you are new to preserving or experienced, looking to develop your skills, join me for a customised day making traditional preserves, free from artificial additives and recipes designed simply to be different.
The volume of information about preserving in print and online has reached epic proportions and much of it does not provide reliable recipes that work. Frequently they mislead the preserver into thinking the end result was a success, or makes them dispirited when the preserve ferments or turns mouldy.
My customised days will provide answers to questions, recipes that work, and inspiration to start making successful preserves.
How to book a day
Once you have emailed me with an enquiry, we’ll have a telephone conversation to determine your needs for a day.
Our practical session will run from 10am-4pm ( including lunch) on a mutually convenient day, in my kitchen in north east Somerset.
Preserving is generally governed by the seasons and my days reflect that cycle, although I am happy to discuss dates at other times of the year.
